After having done this myself, I figure that even for a Japanese native this must be tedious without having done it at least twice before. When we closed down our company... a native helped us submit the paperwork to close out our local bank account with an online bank. It took SIX MONTHS of sending the same form back and forth with corrections to finish it, haha.
