What doesn’t shock me though is his complete misunderstanding of how open standards work.
- petre 7y agoHe most likely found out about it with the news that the foundation is moving overseas. Maybe lawmakers will get the message eventually?
- gumby 7y agoI’m sure the reporters called his office and spoke with an aid and received a generic and knee-jerk response based on what the reporter said. I don’t think he knows nor cares about risc-v nor the topic. Assuming what I wrote above is how it happened (95% likely) it should not reflect poorly on him. I have a low opinion of the man but I doubt this quote reflects anything on how he might vote if some related issue comes to the senate floor.
