Hi, Alain here, one of the co-founders. If you have high karma on Hacker News, you should know that you don't need an invitation code from TechCrunch, you are automatically welcome :-)

  For some reason, Letslunch isn't recognizing my HN username when I go to add it.

    Can you contact us at support@letslunch.com? We have a handful of sporadic bug reports like these. And of course, everytime I test it on my end, it works fine :-) There's a reason Murphy is famous...

  How high is high enough? :) Very cool by the way, great idea!

    If you apply for an invite and focus on the HN field you can see the limit, currently at 2500 karma.

      Ah, thanks. And goodness, didn't think my karma would be currency, and by the time it is, I don't have enough. Interesting to ponder on... :)

        You are so close to 1000, just write a few smart comments and you'll be part of the elite :-)

Lunch is a great idea. It's long enough to start building a relationship, but not so long that a bad match will ruin your day. I should sign up and see how well the matching algorithm works.
