Our representation system is pretty messed up. Montana has 2 senators with a population of 577,000. But New York state has 2 senators with a population of 19.

Our representation system is pretty messed up. Montana has 2 senators with a population of 577,000. But New York state has 2 senators with a population of 19.5 million. And the entire midwest is like that, with tons of representation for very sparely populated areas.
- Monroe13 7y agoMontana has a population of more than 1 million. And two senators per state regardless of population is a feature not a bug.
