Why would that matter to how happy someone feels about it? Just because nobody throws clogs in looms anymore doesn't mean the tech transition was handled well at the time.
- lotsofpulp 7y agoMy point is one should feel unhappy about the lack of social safety net, not the programmers working on automating things.
- larnmar 7y agoHandling tech transitions is the responsibility of the people being replaced, not the people doing the replacing. If you sit around expecting the rest of the world to take care of your best interests, you’re going to have a bad time.
