For those thinking of going to Petra, do yourself a favour and make sure you have at least a day to explore, the whole site is huge. We were there for two days and there was probably more we could have seen. However if you are not in moderate shape then you might struggle with some of the stuff out to the edge, unless you fancy taking a donkey up the hills.
