I honestly wonder what it will take at this point to change Google's culture of how they launch products. They haven't had a success in a while, bluntly. Perhaps the "Google way" of launching a half finished product over vague windows and iterating after that doesn't actually work? Or if it ever worked, doesn't work now when Google isn't a plucky underdog and the products aren't competing with other unfinished platforms but often mature, feature complete alternatives?
