I'm an immigrant and I am not white. I've only lived in big cities (NYC) and a handful of smaller, but progressive cities. I'd never be able to buy even a one bedroom apartment in a place like NYC - would love to move to a rural place, with less traffic/noise/pollution etc. These kinds of comments scare me off...
