Agreed. I am also carless, but I wouldn't want to move to San Fran. as it's much too expensive. You should for sure consider other places in Cali. like San Die

You should for sure consider other places in Cali. like San Diego, which has perfectly good public transit, but I would also consider the DC area, Austin, Chapel Hill (free and frequent bus service), etc.
- PascLeRasc 7y agoThanks. I've thought about San Diego a lot, but I heard from a friend that it's incredibly car-centric there. Good to hear another perspective.
- diehunde 7y agoSame in Austin. Don't go there if you are looking for a walkable place. I can't even take my dog for a walk to a nice place.
