They are blocking the growth of renewables industries in developing nations [0] under the guise of free trade instead of promoting renewables usage in those countries. US has backed off the Paris climate accord saying they should not be subsidizing solar in these countries. They are showing anything but leadership after having damaged the planet for their own benefit all these years.
