Are they paying their own team to quit?
- zpallin 7y agoAsk most people in SF or Oakland and they'll probably think SJ is not part of the bay area. Lol. Mostly joking, but I grew up in the Bay Area and live in SJ so it's not actually that uncommon to hear, especially from new folks to the area.

- steveklabnik 7y agoExtra cynicism: by getting others to leave, they can stay and it gets better for them.
- jrockway 7y agoIf I owned a house in the bay area, I would be asking anyone and everyone to move there. More money for me! Rent in downtown Mountain View is higher than Manhattan.
