- hackyhacky 7y agoThese sentences do not mean "Jana loves Petr." Subject/object relationship is determined by case marking suffixes on nouns. Another comment proposed an apropos analogy: English is like position-based parameter-passing. sentence.love("Petr", "Jana") Czech is like keyword-based parameter passing. sentence.love(object="Jana", subject="Petr")
