This migth've been tongue-in-cheek but seriously, this is what I do a lot of the time. I have a usb drive specifically to quickly move files around with a dual USB type A and micro-usb interface, specifically to move files from my phone. Less thinking / worrying/ debugging "why-didn't-that-work".
