I don't share your pessimism about the feasability of politically banning all advertising, but I agree that something like this would be the next best thing, and a great step.
- topkai22 7y agoIn the US at least there is rightfully a free speech issue. It would take some serious constitutional wrangling to get a ban in place. Tracking technology and terrible analytics platforms that slow everything down are much lower hanging fruit.
