I would start working on a plan to finding a quiet space that is yours.
That might mean a small town, or it might mean a $3000/mo+ studio apartment. How do you get to having enough cash flow to afford that space? Can you nix the hotdesking membership? Worst case, can you bail on the startup and join a megacorp?
- ken 7y agoAre you suggesting a megacorp is more likely to offer private offices?
- peteretep 7y agoMegacorp is more likely to have a collection of programmers who sit together and peer pressure people into being quiet.
- cbhl 7y agoDoes any employer offer private offices during the day to rank-and-file employees? I'm assuming that's an unsolveable problem, but hopefully a salary would make it easier to rent an apartment.
