If your government shuts down the internet...
- bergie 16y agoI love it how the Guy Fawkes mask has become a universal symbol of resistance
- beoba 16y agohey it's a pretty good movie what can i say
- JeremyBanks 16y agoUniversal? It's popular on the internet, but I haven't seen it used much by other groups. Has it been?
- ctdonath 16y agoSeveral protesting mobs have used the masks, including at least one group in China.
- dantheman 16y agoSaw some people wearing them in protest/demonstration/march for egypt down Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge & Boston today.
- BigZaphod 16y agoNot that this is "universal", but I believe anon (from 4chan, etc) has been using them for the occasional public protest/event/whatever.
