In personalized AR education, there's an opportunity of peer AI agents. Companions and colleagues.
Ones with very non-human in/capability profiles. How to handle expectation management, especially with younger students, is a challenge. Visibly-malfunctioning cartoonish Sparky, the flaky robot dog?... If it misunderstands or forgets what you said, or is emotionally blind, well that's no surprise, it's broken.
