On the contrary, there is another school of thought which says that the people who started going to school late in life are much more resilient to difficult situations in life. When I look at earlier generation (I am 77 born), I notice that they are happier than others in tough times. And the generation younger than me feels irritated when the elders ask them to take it easy or ask them to ignore some comments etc. The academic competition is taking lives out of people.
