  More like a gold sovereign in Piccadilly. I only skimmed, but it's a sweet result, and something an insightful undergrad could have come up with, but never did. Linear algebra for large scale "muh big data" applications has had a mini renaissance in recent years. Haven't seen any this cute and basic though.
