The spec isn't a disaster. Vendors implementing is. The main problem is that OEMs don't give a sh*t about the spec and cutting corners whenever they can.

- kkarakk 7y agoThe spec should require clear labelling of SOME kind to differentiate between the different types of wires. I feel like that's been a common issue with the USB spec and one they refuse to address
