- jasonwilk 16y agoSurprisingly we have never had any push back on the name, which I was happy to see since we are obviously not racists, and we are all also Caucasian. We just thought it was a name people could remember and although I can't completely validate that that is why this business is successful, I think it has had a lot to do with it.
- gte910h 16y agoI know many corps who'd use your product, but couldn't buy it for threat of having their ass sued off.
- callmevlad 16y agoI remember having a similar issue with my company and using FCKEditor in a product before it was renamed to CKEditor. The editor was superior in every way, but something about the name caused the higher-ups to label it as a non-option.
- grumo 16y agoWhiteyboard is an awesome product. I specially like their hilarious videos promoting it. This one with the blonde chick is priceless -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr1jhit2hzQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr1jhit2hzQ
- Bud 16y agoIf you put up a WhiteyNote, does that mean you just made a CrackerBoard?
- corin_ 16y agoFrom the FAQ: Can I cut it? Yes. WhiteyBoarders can simply customize their Sonia (12"x18"), Alice (2'x3'), or Bertha (3.3'x6') with household scissors or an X-acto knife. There's something a little bit creepy about giving human names to products in the same sentence as talking about cutting them up.
