Side note: if anyone does go to Venice and finds the McDonalds, walk straight behind it down the alleyway, there’s an amazing, reasonably priced restaurant right behind it. Their meatballs are fantastic (not spaghetti meatballs, just meatballs), along with everything else. It’s called Cà D'Oro alla Vedova. We were shown it by a local, only realised McDonalds was near it after we finished eating.
