Why is the touchbar still a thing. I hit the speaker button inadvertently at least once a day. "Pop!"

  Did you know you can rearrange the buttons for the touchbar? System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Customise Control Strip. My bugbear was hitting the siri button by mistake, I swapped that for a 'do not disturb' button which is harmless when pressed.

    The point is we shouldn’t have to be reconfiguring our laptops to make them usable. :/ I’m so over Apple hardware. Just let me hackintosh it.

      By unusable you mean it's possible to hit the wrong key by accident? Having to go into settings for your preferred layout seems reasonable to me too...

      You don't want to futz with a short gui config so the solution is to burn it down and hackintosh?
