What is Brave doing under the hood to get these claimed performance improvements over Chrome, Firefox and Safari?
- etr71115 7y agoNot rendering ad networks and trackers.
- Sargos 7y agoProbably the built-in ad and tracker blocking. All of those scripts and content add up.
- nissimk 7y agoBlocking ads?
- adambyrtek 7y agoI guess just blocking ads and trackers gives a significant performance boost they leverage in their marketing. I bet benchmark against any of the other browsers with ad-blockers installed would give a different result.
- bityard 7y agoI would guess they block the ads
- 300bps 7y agoBy default, they fail to load stuff like trackers, ads, etc.
