I'm a programmer and used to spend my free time staring at a computer screen (whether working on personal projects, building websites and video games or playing video games) but then I realized this was taking a toll on my social life and both physical and mental health. Now I try to do something completely unrelated to coding (I still enjoy coding and do it occasionally but not nearly as much as before), for example cooking or fixing things or doing any work that is tangible. I play sports and go to the gym. It helps a lot with confidence and your dopamine levels which then motivates you to be more successful at other options things, like coding, or dating or just meeting new people.
In case people are interested in projects I've built, in the early beginning of learning full stack I was over ambitious and wanted to build a website that would help discover quality mobile games. The website is:
https://www.playworthy.io/ https://www.playworthy.io/
But the idea never took off. The website is still live but I rarely maintain it because the amount of traffic it gets.
