The price differential for the same procedures depending on whether I go to an urgent care center, or my primary care, or a hospital ER is what makes me insane. Urgent care is a flat fee $50, whatever they do, whereas the hospital starts at something like $800, and goes up from there. I forget what the primary care costs, although I think it is more than urgent care; I can't get an appointment with my primary care without a couple months of lead time, so it's pretty much moot.
