- robyn_b 16y agoI'm not sure Karp is actively fighting fires though... It doesn't look like he's doing much to anyway. If he's not careful those fires will destroy all he has anyway. Besides, he could have retracted what he said but he didn't - if you read the article he reiterated his point in a second e-mail a day later.
- jaredstenquist 16y agoCEO's who aren't responsible enough to use email and represent their team appropriately are easily replaced with a board vote.
- clojurerocks 16y agoCompletely agree. This type of stuff happens ALL OF THE TIME in business. Sure sometimes you want to react like this but you realize its not in the best interest of your customer or the company. Even if the customer is wrong or right all of it gets lost in noise. He should have taken a time out chilled out and then responded. Instead it was reactionary and ridiculous. Regardless of whether he was right or wrong in this situation.
