I'm not sure this actually is related to FHI. Certainly, don't sign up for it on that basis until you've checked with FHI to make sure you'd actually be working with them. FYI, the Future of Humanity Institute does have an opening for a postdoc in computer science who wants to branch out into more philosophical/futuristic areas, i.e., they want an academic who already knows algorithms and wants to learn philosophy of mind and rigorous futurism.
