I've worked with a lot of them over the years. Big/breaking codebase changes without consulting anyone, not waiting for requirements to work out, not playing well with others, not being willing to mentor less experienced team members... the list goes on and on and on and on. I do not like working with 10x programmers. They're the engineering equivalent of putting your bills on a credit card. You have to pay it eventually, with interest.
