Right, I think this is the real answer. I don't (and shouldn't have to) disclose my bipolar to my boss / coworkers under any circumstances, but a culture that allows for the fact that not everyone performs to the best of their ability under a traditional 9-5 goes a long way to being inclusive without singling anyone out.
