I don’t think there is a leader in this movement in Hong Kong [1], and definitely Joshua Wong or Denice Ho are not leaders of this movement, that is, the majority of the protestors do not follow whatever agenda they set. The protestors act by consensus, and their action has largely been fueled by the unchecked police brutality, and recently by the death of a student during protest [2].
