On a somewhat related note, I have banned myself from Facebook for the past month now. I'm working full time on my startup and I felt that Facebook was a waste of precious time in my day. And boy, was I right. My productivity has been fantastic. I feel energized and motivated to work 16 hours a day. I honestly don't think I've ever been happier in my life. I've come to realize that Facebook is a distraction...a distraction from your real life; what's actually important. Yet over 1 in 4 pageviews in the US are hitting Facebook's website. Millions of people everyday are sitting in front of a screen trying to socialize online. How sad does that sound??
