I recently discovered that when comparing my facebook feed to my GF's, she had nothing but posts from friends and their new families (babies/marriages/etc.) while mine is typically links to news, witty quotes, and people venting. I had no idea girls indeed do spend more time on facebook posting only the positives of their life. I would think that definitely keeps out requests for help or posting only mediocre content.
