- marvindanig 7y agoThat's because even Chrome/Firefox on iOS is forced to use Safari's own rendering engine. Apple hasn't opened up iOS for other vendors to develop browsers ground up independent of Apple's stack. Browser wars aren't over, you're probably drinking kool-aid or being someone's patsy for no reason. Shame. Disappointed to see so many Apple apologists favoring lack of competition on web. Not surprised though, it's what cultists always do.
