this is interesting data... im not a scientist, but what causes the methane from the garbage dumps? rotting organics or just everything in general? is there not a better way to dispose of specific types of trash creating these gases? Obviously not a small problem to solve. I think if the gov started identifying and fining these emitters, they would invest more into these types of solutions.
