Technology is mostly neutral morally* It's good in the hands of ethical people. It's bad in the hands of unethical people. Nothing about quantum computing changes this fundamental premise. I would say that the scale of good or bad that can from using quantum computing is much higher than other upcoming technologies. But beyond that, nothing is particularly different than any other new technology in this regard. *When I say technology here I am referring to over-arching technologies not specific applications. E.G. Nuclear technology in general, not nuclear power or nuclear weapons specifically.
