- typeformer 7y agoYeah and it's a thousand times easier to quickly replace those because their key components are not the most dangerous substances on the planet!
- xyzzyz 7y agoThere are a lot of much more dangerous substances on the planet, and many of them are likely used in the manufacturing process of photovoltaics.
- beat 7y agoCite? Have fun with the googling. Feel free to check out the toxicity of plutonium (separate from radiation) while you're at it.
- walterstucco666 7y ago> because their key components are not the most dangerous substances on the planet e-waste and tech-waste are much much bigger problems and a threat for the environment than nuclear waste will ever be. nuclear waste, being very dangerous, are also handled with very high security standards, while every other kind of waste is basically treated like it is safe or almost safe.
