- bronson 7y agoThat doesn't even register compared to the Fukushima and Chernobyl cleanups. That link seems to support the OP's point.
- walterstucco666 7y agoYeah, because they don't cleanup! Also: if cleanup after spills were handled like radioactive contaminations (i.e. bring the sate back to before the disaster) the costs would be orders of magnitude bigger. Oil spill are instead treated like "it's ok if you remove the bulk of it, if it's invisible and papers don't talk about it, it's a good job. Also dead animals or contaminated shores are no big deal."
