After hearing about the MacBooks that had serious issues interfacing with audio hardware in 2018 (which would have been an incredibly bad problem for me), I'm too scared to upgrade from my 2013 MBP. It's too much money to spend on something that might have problems. EDIT: Did Apple ever even fix that? I think it had something to do with the T2 processor.
