No infrastructure needed along the way (if you discount the air ports used as emergency targets), fast, and quite flexible. Trying to ignore that is futile. We should simply mandate a growing percentage of carbon neutral fuels for all aircraft traveling to and from our countries. Start with 1% next year, it should be easy to implement and then increase every 2 years by another percentage point.
