IDK, it's like Twilight books: sure they're way more popular than they deserve, but if it gets people reading... if Mona Lisa gets people in the door, then that's great. Anyway, once you look at the Mona Lisa and are annoyed by the crowds, a literally 180 and you're faced with amazing artwork that, because everyone in that room is there to see the Mona Lisa, you can look at unmolested. (at least when I there last, it may have been moved / rearranged).
