Same. In an effort to minimalize, my work PC is a monitor with a NUC sitting under it. No bulky case, wires everywhere, etc. I've been trying for two years to find an AMD equivalent to no avail.
- rhizome 7y agoYou can get a VESA mount Mini-ITX[1] case with a current-chipset (X570, etc.) motherboard, as well as all the other Mini-ITX options like monitor-mount base cases[2]. 1. https://www.amazon.com/Antec-ISK110-VESA-U3-Mini-ITX-Compatible/dp/B0095P21ZS https://www.amazon.com/Antec-ISK110-VESA-U3-Mini-ITX-Compati... 2. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQQB9wocMh_PQ9nZ-oheRSqmUYDXySMYLvuX6du7iQEYVl5CYPO https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQQB9...
- axaxs 7y agoThanks for the links. This is significantly larger than a NUC, but still manageable. That said, part of what I appreciate about the NUC is that it's all built together...no weird hardware/compat issues, etc.
- rhizome 7y agoThe weird hw/compat issues tend to be OS-related in my experience. I checked a few of these boards and the integrated graphics tended to be Radeon, but I think it'd really only matter under Linux.

- NicoJuicy 7y agoFrequently bought together section on Amazon is probably exactly what you wanted ^^
- rpeden 7y agoNeat! You can VESA mount NUCs, too: https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/articles/000006857/mini-pcs/intel-nuc-kits.html https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/articles/0000...
