That really only saves me disk space to avoid git clone. The considerations for choosing it are just tiny.
- johannes1234321 7y agoIt also simplifies to build remotely on a larger machine. No need to sync local and remote files.
- banachtarski 7y agoWell if you code in a larger codebase, the cost of parsing and populating the symbol cache causes plenty of latency.
- jakear 7y agoNot sure what you mean here. The only thing running locally is the lightweight shell. Builds/indexing&search/language services/etc. all happen on the remote host.
