  Worked instantly on iPhone safari with a content blocker. Was surprised to see someone write paywall, because didn’t think my setup would block one.

      Not who you were asking but I use AdGuard and had no problems with the article. Works pretty well.

      Sorry about late response, but I’m using 1Blocker Legacy (free). It seems to be quite good.

the whole article is inside the page, only hidden by a <div> Use the source, ctrl-f and search for "background: linear-gradient(rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)" and delete the whole div that contains it. You are welcome.

On desktop, I just hit esc to stop the page loading after it'd loaded the text, but before all the paywalling had loaded.
