I still genuinely don't understand the elitist and patronizing view that developing and/or developed countries should just stop traveling by air or travel significantly less by air? In reality, even if all the rich people stopped flying on planes, plenty of other people would just keep doing it. I don't think poor people really care too much about being guilted by rich people, led alone being told someone else knows better than them how they should spend their hard earned money / live their lives.
