My coworker and I feel the same way. We’re both .net devs for over 15 years each. We avoid power shell like the plague. The syntax is ugly and there is a bit too much magic in it.
As a point of comparison, we are both quite happy to use bash so we don’t have an issue with command line tools or scripting languages.
That said, after writing a Windows forms app using powershell, I had a slightly better understanding of it.
