Application Shortcuts for Chrome (on Mac): Time's up, Google

Last year Google said of Application Shortcuts for Chrome, "We're working on this feature and it should be out later this year" It's now almost February of 2011 and there have been no updates from Google. I'm tired of using Fluid or hacky ways of getting some of this functionality. It's so great on the PC version, when can we have it for OS X? http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=4d7f71953c36bb7b
