If the idea is to track a browser, can't you just use DNS resolution time? Are they looking at per-host DNS caches?

If the idea is to track a browser, can't you just use DNS resolution time? Are they looking at per-host DNS caches?
- progval 7y agoLess effective, because browsers don't cache, recursive resolvers do, and they are often shared; and it may be harder to tell the difference between a cache hit and a cache miss in DNS (responses can be very fast). But I guess it could work too
