I imagine it’s easier to persuade people who are used to and depend on trains that they should build more train lines. For better or worse, most Americans are happy with their cars and train transit is at best a nice-to-have.
- wan23 7y agoIn New York City though, we are used to and depend on trains, and we still can't get more built at a reasonable cost or speed.
