- jhbadger 7y agoAnd even by walking, a 15 minute walk is just a 15 minute walk. I live a 15 minute walk to a DC Metro station that I use for commuting and I consider myself to be quite near it. To me, transit deserts are places where the routes to the mass transit sources aren't walkable at all (which there are plenty of).
